Schedule/Hours:
Shift options: 7:00am-5:30pm or 8:00am-6:30pm Call required: 1-2 nights per week (call starts at 6:30pm, ends at 7:00am) Weekend call: One full weekend (Saturday 7:00am to Monday 7:00am) every 5-8 weeks Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutesQualifications:
Valid Registered Nurse license (Rhode Island) Current BLS certification Proven experience in interventional radiology (IR), with competency in both body and neuro cases Prior involvement in acute stroke protocols highly desired Ability to handle call responsibilities, including quick on-site response timesResponsibilities:
Provide skilled nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures Collaborate with physicians, radiology staff, and other multidisciplinary professionals Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort Respond promptly and effectively to emergent situations, particularly neuro and stroke cases Document care and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with facility protocols Participate in rotating call schedule, maintaining readiness for urgent procedures You'll join a fast-paced department focused on advanced patient care and continual learning.
