1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 3 years of ER experience and an active SC or compact RN license. Details Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital environment Night shift schedule with 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts, 19:00-7:00 Required to work every other weekend Option of 2 on-call shifts per month (24 hours each) or 2 additional shifts per month Floating required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals Epic charting system preferred Requirements Active RN license (SC or Compact) required at time of consideration, no pending licenses accepted Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS Minimum 3 years of ER experience required Copies of certifications required for consideration Two supervisory references required for consideration Additional Information Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius may be considered as locals at the local rate Expect to work some holidays during the assignment RTO should be kept to a minimum, with no requests during the first two weeks of the assignment or for full calendar weeks off, and must be approved prior to start Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for 5 years before becoming eligible to return as a traveler First-time travelers will be considered, though candidates with travel experience are preferred
