In our fast-paced stepdown units, you will monitor patients recovering from general and specialized surgeries, adapting to the dynamic needs while supporting patients and their families in their recovery processes. Responsibilities Monitor and assess the health status of postoperative patients, providing timely updates to the medical team. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for any adverse reactions. Operate and monitor medical equipment used in patient care. Collaborate with surgical, nursing, and ancillary staff to provide comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families about postoperative care and recovery expectations.
