- Cardiac Cath Lab (LMC) Pay Rate Type Hourly Pay Grade Health-27 Scheduled Weekly Hours 36 Work Shift Day (United States of America) Job Description What You'll Do Provide nursing care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic status Provide moderate sedation according to established policy and competency Prepare patients, sterile fields, equipment, and supplies for procedures Recognize subtle changes in patient condition and respond quickly to cardiac emergencies Assist with emergency interventions, including defibrillation and temporary pacing Educate and reassure patients and families throughout their procedural experience Collaborate closely with Cardiologists and the multidisciplinary Cath Lab team Promote exceptional patient safety, quality, and efficient procedural care Additional Job Description What You'll Bring Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current South Carolina or Compact State RN license Current BLS and ACLS Strong knowledge of cardiac physiology/pathology, 12-lead EKG interpretation, and physiologic monitoring Experience - One of the
