Job Description
Position Overview:
As an RN Infusion Nurse in our Oncology/Hematology office, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality infusion therapy to our patients. You will administer chemotherapy and other infusions, monitor patients during treatments, and provide education and support to patients and their families. Your skills and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of those facing challenging health issues.Key Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy and other IV infusions with precision and care.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and manage side effects during treatment.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medication, and self-care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in GA & SC Compact License.
- Experience in oncology and infusion nursing preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to empathize with patients and provide compassionate care.
- BLS and ACLS certification (required).
