Job Description

Join HCA Healthcare as an Emergency Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator. In this leadership-focused RN role, you'll coordinate patient flow, supervise ER nursing staff, and deliver high-quality, evidence-based emergency care. You'll collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, support triage and critical interventions, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Coordinate daily operations and patient flow in a fast-paced emergency department Provide direct bedside nursing care, triage, and continuous patient monitoring Supervise, mentor, and support ER nursing staff and ancillary team members Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, quality, safety, and regulatory standards Participate in staff education, onboarding, and performance feedback Respond to emergencies and assist with critical procedures and rapid response situations Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EHRSupport patient and family education, advocacy, and service excellence initiatives Contribute to process improvement and evidence-based practice projects in the ER Required Skills Emergency nursing Triage assessment Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) Pediatric advanced life support (PALS) Leadership and staff coordination Electronic health records (EHR) IV therapy and medication administration Critical care interventions Emergency protocols and trauma care Patient and family education
