TriStar Health seeks a compassionate Cardiac Registered Nurse to provide specialized care to cardiac patients within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this full-time, on-site role, you will assess and monitor cardiac status, manage medications and telemetry, support post-procedure recovery, and coordinate care with a skilled multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Provide bedside nursing care to cardiac patients across the continuum of care Continuously assess, monitor, and document cardiac status and vital signs Administer medications, IV therapies, and cardiac interventions per provider orders Interpret telemetry and EKG findings, escalating changes promptly Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop care plans Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatments, and discharge care Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards of Tri Star Health Participate in professional development and unit-based quality initiatives Required Skills Cardiac patient assessment Cardiac monitoring/telemetry Medication administration (cardiac drugs, IV therapy) EKG interpretation Post-op cardiac care Care planning and documentation (EMR) Patient and family education Emergency response (code management) Infection control and safety Multidisciplinary team collaboration
