1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position on night shift, requiring a TN or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ED experience. Details Emergency Department setting with 16 beds Patient ratio of 4:1, variable Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM No call requirements No floating required No 48-hour work requirement Uses FirstNet - Cerner EMR Requirements Active RN license (TN or compact) Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP CPI certification required but may be obtained after contract start (provided on site) Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience Critical care assessment and management skills IV skills and cardiac monitoring competency Skills in IV/IO access, chest tube management, catheterization, and critical care drips Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment start No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months Additional Information Responsible for triage, critical thinking, and comprehensive nursing assessment of ED patients Royal blue scrub color required RTO must be requested at time of consideration and made up at end of contract RTO requests must be less than 1 week RTO blackout on Labor Day Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted Not eligible if previously employed at the facility as permanent staff within the last 2 years
