May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. Create hospice care plans that align with the patients wishes and goals
Direct nursing care: administering medications, treatments, and interventions
Provide pain and symptom management
Educate and support the patient's family and caregivers
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

One year nursing experience required, 3+ years preferred
Experience in hospice or a similar setting preferred
Knowledge of the hospice philosophy of care
Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence
