1 Description American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Progressive Cardiac Care Unit position on night shift, requiring at least one year of recent telemetry/PCU experience and an active TX or compact RN license. Details Progressive Cardiac Care Unit (PCCU) setting within a hospital Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week assignment length Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted) Current NIH Stroke Certification required for PCU placement Minimum 1 year of recent experience in telemetry/progressive care specialty No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted) One professional reference required Additional Information Provide telemetry-level nursing care to progressive care patients Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not acceptedCareer Insights for PCU / Stepdown Registered Nurse
