$1,512/gross week ($42/hour, 36 hours/week) Anticipated duration of assignment: 13 weeks

Schedule:

6:30pm-7am, three 12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

Functions as a health care member under the direction of the Registered Nurse to implement the Plan of Care utilizing the nursing process. Provides a safe, therapeutic environment by following basic standards of nursing practice technical skills. Provide patient care while maintaining the standards for the hospital and department. Think critically and be able to respond quickly in acute care settings. Communicate effectively and provide education to the patient and family. Utilize advanced observation skills to observe changes in the status of the patient.

Required:

Graduate of a school or vocational nursing, required. Current Texas License to practice vocational nursing, required. Current ACLS and CPR certification 1+ years recent experience working in Labor & Delivery, Nursery and Immediate Newborn Care experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality patient care.
