Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity seeks an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in providing evidence-based care, patient education, and collaborative teamwork. MS nurses are integral in delivering high-quality care while working alongside a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year of recent medical-surgical (MS) nursing experience Proficiency in managing post-operative and acutely ill adult patients BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association or equivalent) Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication abilities Capacity to adapt to fast-paced clinical environments and variable patient needs EMR documentation experience preferred
Schedule/Hours:
Contract-based role with full-time shifts; specific schedule discussed during interview
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Administer medications, including intravenous therapies, accurately and safely Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and clinical changes, escalating care when necessary Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff Provide patient and family education on conditions, care processes, and discharge planning Adhere to evidence-based protocols and facility policies to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes Chart all interventions, observations, and changes promptly in the electronic medical record system This contract nursing opportunity offers the chance to expand your experience in a supportive, well-equipped medical-surgical environment.
