This role performs Peripheral IV (PIV), Midline, and PICC insertions while ensuring exceptional patient care, accurate clinical documentation, and full regulatory compliance. The Vascular Access RN serves as the primary vascular access resource for assigned facilities and ensures timely, efficient, and high‑quality service delivery. Qualifications Current, unrestricted Texas RN license Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Demonstrated competency in Peripheral IV placement, Midline placement, & PICC placement. Experience with ultrasound‑guided vascular access Strong clinical assessment skills Strong documentation and organizational skills Essential Functions Perform Peripheral IV (PIV), Midline, and PICC insertions Assess patients to determine appropriate vascular access needs Utilize ultrasound technology when clinically indicated Follow all infection prevention, sterile technique, and safety standards Collaborate with facility nursing staff, medical providers, and leadership Maintain professional communication with assigned facilities Participate in quality improvement initiatives Provide timely response to vascular access service requests Maintain reliable attendance and communicate scheduling needs proactively Please visit cantexcc.com for more information about our organization.
