This is a 1099 contract position paid exclusively from billable activity for services provided to clients with IDD through Medicaid. In your role, you would be responsible for (4) main tasks.

• Completing Comprehensive Nurse's Assessments for each client in the program (Done upon beginning of contract, and annually or once a year after initial report.) This includes a head to toe assessment regarding the clients health and status. (Annually)
• Medical Delegation in which you learn the operations of medication administration in our program, and then teach staff how to administer medications. (1
• 2 times a month depending on flow of hiring during that month. It is possible to go a month or more without any delegations being necessary.)
• Perform simple check ups following hospital visits and make referrals to the appropriate action to be taken within (48) hours of discharge. (As needed)
• Administration of the (1st) dose of medication when there is a medication change for a client, and monitor for any side effects.

(As needed) This contract position allows a flexible schedule to ensure the needs of our clients are being met in a timely manner.
