Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Admissions Director to lead the patient admission process within a skilled nursing facility. Responsibilities Oversee the entire admissions process, including patient assessments, documentation, and coordination with clinical staff to ensure seamless transitions into the facility. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including

HIPAA, JCAHO

standards, and state-specific policies related to patient admission and data security. Collaborate with medical professionals to verify insurance coverage, manage medical records, and facilitate billing procedures using medical billing systems and patient management software. Maintain accurate records of patient information in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as EMR/EHR platforms PCC, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Develop and monitor budgets related to admissions operations, including resource allocation and cost control strategies. Foster excellent customer service by addressing inquiries from residents' families, resolving concerns promptly, and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources. Requirements Proven experience in healthcare management or medical office administration within a skilled nursing or long-term care setting. Strong supervisory skills with experience managing teams in a healthcare environment. Extensive knowledge of health regulation policies such as

HIPAA, JCAHO

accreditation standards, and utilization management protocols. Proficiency in medical office management software. Familiarity with fiscal management practices such as budgeting, financial management, and medical billing processes. Excellent managerial communication skills combined with exceptional customer service abilities. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare practice operations. Ability to navigate managed care environments and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations governing skilled nursing facilities. Prior experience supervising healthcare staff and implementing human resources practices within a clinical setting is preferred.
