In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive medical evaluations, managing customized medical weight loss programs, and performing high-quality, safe aesthetic procedures. The ideal candidate possesses an advanced understanding of facial anatomy, a refined artistic eye, and a strong clinical background in weight management, with a proven track record of delivering transformative results while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.. Key Responsibilities Medical Weight Loss & Wellness Oversee and manage the clinic's medical weight loss programs, conducting thorough initial consultations and establishing patient candidacy. Prescribe and actively monitor weight loss medications, including GLP-1 agonists (e.g., Semaglutide, Tirzepatide), ensuring appropriate dosing protocols and patient safety. Provide ongoing nutritional guidance, lifestyle coaching, and progress tracking to support patients in achieving their long-term health goals. Administer wellness therapies, such as B12 and lipotropic injections, as part of a holistic weight management plan. Clinical & Aesthetic Treatments Administer cosmetic injectables, including neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport), dermal fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, RHA), and biostimulators (Sculptra, Radiesse) at Novera Med Spa. Perform advanced aesthetic treatments which may include PRP hair restoration, truSculpt Body contouring, Laser treatments..etc Conduct thorough aesthetic consultations, actively listening to patient goals and developing customized, comprehensive treatment plans. Cross-promote appropriate clinical skincare products, wellness services, and secondary treatments to optimize patient outcomes. Medical Compliance & Patient Care Perform medical exams and clear new patients for both aesthetic treatments and medical weight loss protocols under the supervision of the Medical Director at North Texas Medical Clinic. Review comprehensive medical histories, current medications, and contraindications before administering any treatment or writing prescriptions. Manage and chart all patient records accurately and promptly within the clinic's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Identify, manage, and independently resolve any adverse events or side effects, escalating to the Medical Director only when necessary.
Qualifications & Requirements Licensure:
Active, unencumbered Family Nurse Practitioner (APRN/FNP) license in the State of Texas.
Experience:
Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on, dedicated experience as an Aesthetic Injector. Prior experience managing medical weight loss programs (GLP-1s, peptide therapy) is strongly preferred.
Certifications:
Current BLS/CPR certification required. Advanced certifications in neurotoxins and dermal fillers strongly preferred.
Knowledge:
Deep understanding of facial anatomy, vascular networks, skin physiology, aging mechanisms, and obesity medicine.
