Gonzales Healthcare System has immediate openings for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) to join our team in a clinic setting. Successful candidates will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a commitment to providing quality care. This is an excellent opportunity for any qualified LVNs who wish to continue their professional growth alongside a dedicated team healthcare professionals. A $1,500 sign-on bonus will be paid to the selected candidate after six months of full-time employment.

Responsibilities :

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician. Assist physicians in providing patient care. Perform basic nursing duties such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and providing wound care. Maintain patient records and document patient care activities. Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention. Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and self-care techniques. Assist in the development of clinic policies and procedures.
