Position and Schedule Position:
RN/LVN Charge Nurse Status:
Full Time Schedule Available:
6a-2p and 2p-10p Responsibilities Follow established standards of nursing practices and implement community programs, policies and procedures Obtain report from nurse being relieved and provide report to nurse coming on duty; record sufficient information to implement appropriate follow-up action as necessary. Conduct resident rounds daily, reporting problems to supervisor and initiating corrective action Identify safety hazards and initiate corrective action immediately Identify resident problems and emergency situations and initiate emergency care per physician's orders in the absence of a physician Provide supervision to direct care associates providing direct resident care Attend staff meetings, in-service classes and committee meetings as assigned Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing Unencumbered LVN license Proof of current CPR certification Ability to work flexible schedule Minimum 1 year experience as an LVN in a clinical setting preferred Excellent interpersonal skills Reliable transportation We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
