This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to play a crucial 1:1 role, supporting a student enrolled in Adult Transition Services. You'll be working on-site in a dynamic school environment with dedicated professionals.

Key Qualifications:

Active RN license required; experience in school nursing or prior work as an RN in educational settings is strongly preferred Must hold TX Psych or Diagnostic Certification/Licensure Previous experience supporting students with unique medical or psychological needs is a plus Ability to quickly build rapport and establish trust with students, families, and staff Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working onsite for every scheduled shift

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 nursing care and facilitate access to campus resources for assigned student Administer medications and perform required medical procedures as outlined in the students care plan Support daily activities and help foster a safe, inclusive learning environment Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to promote student development Document care and maintain necessary health records in accordance with district standards
