Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity as a registered nurse in a school-based setting, supporting students and making a direct impact on their educational journey. This role is located near Leander, TX, and involves working onsite in partnership with an Adult Transition Services Camp, providing 1:1 care to a student. The position is available for immediate start and will run through May 21, 2027. Youll play a vital part in ensuring the well-being of a student, collaborating with school staff and families to deliver top-tier care within an engaging, inclusive educational environment. Youll work approximately 4 hours per day, 34 days a week (exact days/hours to be determined).

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and certification in Texas (required) Prior experience in school nursing or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication and advocacy skills Ability to quickly adapt to school settings and maintain exceptional professionalism Passion for supporting students with diverse needs

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 nursing care for a student at the Adult Transition Services Camp Administer medications, monitor health status, and respond to immediate health concerns Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other medical professionals Maintain accurate health records in accordance with nursing standards and school policies Educate staff and students on general health, safety, and wellness best practices Enjoy a rewarding schedule that fits well with other commitments, while making a difference in students lives every day.
