Menard Manor is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, ensuring safety, comfort, and overall well-being. This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and care plans Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care needs Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following all regulatory and facility guidelines Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the physician and/or interdisciplinary team Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other nursing staff Complete accurate and timely documentation of nursing care and resident status Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to individualized resident care plans Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate clinical interventions as needed Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life at all times Collaborate with healthcare providers, residents, and families to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications:
Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state CPR/BLS certification required (or ability to obtain) Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred but not required Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with attention to detail
Schedule:
Full-time position; may include weekends, holidays, and varied shifts based on facility needs
