What they do
A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Type:
One-year contract with opportunity for extension or full time offerSchedule:
Monday- Friday, 8:00AM
- 5:00
PM Pay:
$43.00- $47.
Registered Nurse:
- Manage high volume Epic in-basket management (800 msgs on avg per week)
- Answering and completing nurse triage for OBGYN department. 3 clinics in total.
- High volume of phone calls on avg. 800+ calls per week.
- Managing day to day OBGYN operations, providing oversight and guidance to MA's and LVNs, as well as providers.
- Medication administration, assist with procedures, administer high-alert medications
- STAT ordering, fax management, referral entry Qualifications for the
Registered Nurse:
- Active RN License in Texas
- Bachelors degree in Nursing
- BLS Certification
- Two years of ambulatory care experience
- OBGYN experience is preferred
