Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and a desire to work in a dynamic environment. As an RN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients across various settings, including inpatient and outpatient facilities. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and injections according to established protocols, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations. Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management. Implement aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in both inpatient and outpatient settings to coordinate care. Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately in medical records. Participate in memory care activities for geriatric patients, promoting their well-being and quality of life. Assist with neonatal ventilator management when necessary, ensuring the highest level of care for newborns. Skills Strong knowledge of nursing practices related to geriatrics, medication administration, and patient care protocols. Experience administering injections with proficiency in aseptic technique. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy. Ability to work effectively in both inpatient and outpatient environments, adapting to the needs of diverse patient populations. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Strong critical thinking skills for assessing complex situations and making informed decisions regarding patient care. Compassionate approach toward providing care, particularly in memory care settings for elderly patients.
