Qualifications RN License PALS Certification BLS Certification ACLS Certification Full Job Description Role Overview:
A skilled nurse practicing independently in a clinical setting, providing both routine and complex patient care. Demonstrates awareness of situational factors, manages contingencies, and delegates tasks to care team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Utilize nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation) in patient care, address emotional and social needs, administer medications and treatments per protocols, document patient information, and educate patients and families.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred, with at least 1 year of related nursing experience preferred. Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. Completion of orientation and annual competencies mandated.
Skills:
Strong clinical judgment, ability to handle complex patient needs, effective delegation, and communication skills. Experience in perioperative or surgical settings advantageous.
Key Duties:
Provide comprehensive nursing care, monitor treatment effectiveness, assess learning needs, and ensure compliance with certification requirements within specified grace periods.
