2 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN with a VA or compact license and ICU/ER background for a 13-week travel assignment. Details PACU unit located on the 2nd floor with 15 beds Patient ratios of 1:2 and 1:1 Staffed with RNs and one PCT Uses GE bedside monitors, bladder scanner, central tele monitor, IV pumps, EKG, thermometer, and suction equipment Documentation via Expanse EMR 9 or 12-hour shifts, including 7a-7p and 7p-7a rotations On-call required 1-2 times per week plus one call weekend per month Two call holidays required per year Closed unit with no floating required Performs procedures such as ECT, bedside manipulations, and blood patches Requirements Active VA or compact RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required 1-2 years of ICU or ER experience preferred 1 year of floor nursing experience preferred Ventilator experience and critical drip management skills preferred Experience with Expanse documentation system helpful US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide perianesthesia nursing care in a fast-paced PACU environment Navy blue scrubs required as part of dress code Follow Expanse documentation guidelines and unit-specific policies Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
