The provider will be responsible for delivering exceptional clinical care while creating an outstanding patient experience through safe, personalized aesthetic treatments. Working collaboratively with physicians and the clinical team, this provider will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, provide aesthetic procedures within the scope of licensure and established clinical protocols, and support patients throughout every stage of their aesthetic journey. Providers are expected to exercise sound clinical judgment, uphold the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence, and deliver compassionate, high-quality care while effectively balancing clinical, patient communication, and operational responsibilities. Clinical & Patient Care Perform comprehensive patient assessments, medical histories, and aesthetic consultations to determine appropriate treatment recommendations. Educate patients on available procedures, expected outcomes, treatment risks, benefits, alternatives, and post-treatment care. Provide aesthetic treatments within the scope of licensure, training, physician protocols, and state regulations, including injectables, laser-based procedures, medical-grade skincare treatments, wellness therapies, and other approved services. Consult with physicians or advanced practice providers when appropriate and ensure Good Faith Exam requirements are met before treatment. Obtain and document informed consent prior to all applicable procedures. Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, infection prevention, and clinical best practices. Monitor patient comfort and safety before, during, and after treatments. Stay current on advancements, products, technologies, and evidence-based practices in aesthetic medicine. Recognize, assess, and appropriately manage treatment complications, escalating patient concerns to the physician or advanced practice provider when indicated. Patient Follow-Up & Continuity of Care Conduct appropriate post-treatment follow-up to evaluate patient outcomes and reinforce treatment recommendations. Respond promptly and professionally to patient questions, concerns, complications, and adverse events. Accurately document all patient encounters, treatments, prescriptions, recommendations, and follow-up plans within the electronic medical record (EMR). Build long-term patient relationships through education, trust, personalized care, and ongoing treatment planning. Treatment Planning, Patient Retention & Practice Growth Partner with the Front Office team to support consultation scheduling, treatment planning, patient retention, and lead conversion. Document patient goals and treatment recommendations to facilitate future appointments and continuity of care. Educate patients regarding treatment options, skincare products, maintenance recommendations, and long-term aesthetic plans. Participate in patient education initiatives, community events, marketing activities, and practice growth opportunities. Maintain awareness of individual performance metrics, including consultation conversion rates, patient retention, and treatment utilization when applicable. Assist with marketing initiatives, including curating before-and-after photography in accordance with company policies and patient consent. Participate in company events as needed, including occasional evenings and weekends. Clinical Documentation & Administrative Responsibilities Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation within the electronic medical record. Ensure informed consents, treatment records, photographs, prescriptions, and follow-up documentation are completed according to practice standards. Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations. Assist with inventory management, supply monitoring, and equipment readiness as assigned. Maintain treatment rooms in a clean, organized, and procedure-ready condition. Maintain appropriate inventory levels and accurately document the use of medications, injectables, supplies, and medical devices in accordance with practice policies. Communication Communicate professionally and effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical staff, estheticians, Front Office team members, and leadership. Collaborate to ensure coordinated patient care and an exceptional patient experience. Relay important clinical information accurately and promptly. Respond to patient communications in a timely, compassionate, and professional manner. Compliance & Professional Standards Maintain an active Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing practice and aesthetic medicine. Follow all company policies, clinical protocols, infection control standards, and compliance requirements. Participate in continuing education to maintain competency and remain current on aesthetic treatments, products, and technologies. Uphold the organization's standards of professionalism, ethics, confidentiality, and brand representation at all times. Teamwork & Professionalism Demonstrate reliability, accountability, professionalism, and punctuality. Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative work environment. Support physicians, advanced practice providers, estheticians, nurses, Front Office staff, and other team members as needed. Adapt to changing patient schedules, workflows, and operational needs across all practice locations when requested. Maintain accuracy in patient assessments, treatment documentation, medication administration, and clinical procedures. Qualifications RN, NP, or PA License within the state of Virginia Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience; floor nursing preferred, followed by aesthetic, plastic surgery, dermatology, or cosmetic experience. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills. Commitment to continuing education and professional development in aesthetic medicine. Physical Demands & Work Environment Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Frequent use of hands and fingers to perform clinical procedures, operate equipment, and document patient information. Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and occasionally climb as necessary to perform job duties. Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 25 pounds occasionally. Requires visual acuity, manual dexterity, and attention to detail to safely perform clinical and administrative responsibilities. Ability to work in a clinical environment with exposure to cleaning agents, medical equipment, and occasional exposure to bloodborne pathogens or other biohazards while following established safety protocols.
