Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Travel Embark on a rewarding travel nursing opportunity as a Registered Nurse (RN) in picturesque Danville, Vermont. This role places you in a dynamic Med/Surg unit where you will provide exceptional medical and surgical care primarily to adults, with occasional pediatric cases. Your clinical expertise will be essential in delivering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services across medical, surgical, observation, swing bed, and pediatric patient populations.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering patient-centered care using the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans Collaborating closely with the Unit Director, Clinical Nurse Lead, and Nursing Supervisor to ensure seamless care coordination Addressing the physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual needs of patients with compassion and professionalism Maintaining compliance with hospital policies and quality standards in a fast-paced critical access hospital setting
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of acute care nursing experience, preferably with Meditech electronic health record familiarity Current Vermont RN or multi-state license BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certifications required before start date Ability to begin on April 29, 2026, with orientation and contract start on a Wednesday Adaptability to work day shifts in a primarily adult Med/Surg environment with occasional pediatric patients (Pediatric-only RNs are not eligible)
