As an Operating Room RN, you'll deliver comprehensive perioperative care in a vital critical access hospital environment. Schedule:

Travelers start on Wednesdays During orientation week for 48-hour contracts, 36 hours are guaranteed (midweek start) On-call rotation: one night weekly and every fourth weekend, with a 30-minute response requirement

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver perioperative nursing care across all surgical phases Function in multiple roles: circulator, scrub nurse, and PACU RN Uphold AORN standards, maintain precise documentation, and participate in surgical safety protocols Collaborate seamlessly with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing Current Vermont or multi-state RN license Minimum two years of perioperative nursing experience Active BLS from the American Heart Association Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking Flexibility and willingness to cross-train
