Rural Carrier Associate

Duties Safely operate various types of delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Load, unload, and organize packages and mail items efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary Deliver parcels directly to customers' doorsteps, ensuring accurate and complete deliveries on assigned routes Provide friendly, professional customer service by interacting positively with recipients and answering their questions when appropriate Maintain accurate delivery logs, route sheets, and delivery confirmation records throughout the day Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and proper functioning of manual transmission vehicles Follow prescribed routes diligently, adjusting as needed for weather or traffic conditions to meet delivery deadlines Skills Proven experience in customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor Warehouse experience or familiarity with loading/unloading procedures is highly desirable Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles preferred Strong driving skills, including proficiency with manual transmission vehicles and route driving strategies Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of packages safely and efficiently Experience operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus Knowledge of courier or delivery driver responsibilities with a focus on load & unload processes and route management Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple deliveries while maintaining accuracy and timeliness Embark on a rewarding career where your drive makes an impact! Pay:

$25.89 - $30.32 per hour
