1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 1 year of LDRP experience and a VT or compact RN license. Details Work in the Birthing Center of a hospital setting Provides care across Labor, Delivery, Post-Partum, and Newborn Care areas 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week Scheduled shift runs from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Minimum of every other weekend required, with schedule adjustments based on unit needs Floating required to Med Surg and ED units No block schedules available Requirements Active VT or compact RN license required AHA BLS and NRP certifications required Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience required Experience in Labor, Delivery, Post-Partum, and Newborn Care required Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required Prior travel nursing experience preferred Additional Information Must work 2 of the following 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day Bi-weekly orientation sessions available Reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended, as public transportation is not accessible in the area Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates accepted Distance from facility determines pay tier: local (50 miles or less), radius (51-100 miles), and travel (101+ miles)
