In this role, you'll triage and stabilize patients, administer medications, coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and document care in EMR systems. Assignments vary by location, offering exposure to diverse patient populations and clinical settings. Responsibilities Provide emergency assessment, triage, and stabilization for diverse patient populations Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per provider orders and protocols Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient responses, escalating changes promptly Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions Adhere to hospital and unit-specific policies, safety standards, and infection control practices Adapt quickly to new facilities, workflows, and technologies across travel assignments Support continuity of care during transitions, handoffs, and high-acuity situations Participate in orientation and ongoing professional development while on assignment Required Skills Emergency nursing Triage and rapid assessment IV insertion and medication administration Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation Ventilator management Wound care and suturing assistance Electronic Medical Records (EMR) documentation Patient and family education Care coordination with interdisciplinary teams Crisis management and de-escalation
