Role, support, and collaboration The Clinical Data Abstractor Nurse - Quality & Patient Safety will report to the Director of Quality and collaborate closely with Clinical Informatics, HIM, and Performance Improvement leaders, while partnering daily with friendly bedside nurses and a diverse team of physicians, pharmacists, therapists, and data analysts. The Clinical Data Abstractor Nurse - Quality & Patient Safety will abstract and validate data for CMS Core Measures, population health metrics, and national registries, optimize definitions and workflows, prepare audits and dashboards, educate stakeholders, and contribute to surveys and accreditation activities in a supportive environment that prizes mentorship, shared governance, and interprofessional respect.
