1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Infusion RN for a full time day shift position requiring active WI RN or compact licensure and chemotherapy certification. Details Provides specialized infusion nursing care including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologic agents, and blood products Full time day shift schedule Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm Manages vascular access devices including ports, PICC lines, and central lines Documents treatment administration and patient responses in electronic medical records Requirements Active WI RN license or Compact RN license (must obtain WI license within 90 days of start if on Compact) Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing required, BSN preferred BLS certification required, or must be obtained within 1 month of hire ACLS required, or must be obtained within 1 year of hire Current ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider Card required, or must be obtained within 6 months of hire Strong knowledge of IV therapy, vascular access management, and chemotherapy safety protocols Additional Information Assess patient condition before, during, and after treatments and monitor for adverse reactions such as allergic reactions or extravasation Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other IV and injectable medications following strict hazardous drug handling protocols Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and symptom management Collaborate with providers, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care Provide emotional support to patients throughout the treatment process
