Job Description

The Registered Nurse coordinates and administers quality patient and family care that is compassionate, holistic, respectful and value-driven. Has confident communication skills and acts as a patient advocate. The RN utilizes the nursing process to perform assessment of the patient's physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs; planning, development and implementation of a multi-disciplinary plan of care; and evaluation of the patient's response to care. Strives to excel in skill performance, personal growth and professional excellence.
Education Required :
Graduate of an approved school of nursing, BSN preferred or working on.
Related Years of Experience Required:
Previous ICU experience required, two years experience in Acute Care preferred.
Credential/Licensure Required :
Is currently licensed or able to become licensed to practice as an RN in Wisconsin; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification; Shif t: Working Casual Call, 12 hour shifts.
Shifts:
7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. OR 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Casual Call positions are offered an additional 10% differential on top of the base hourly rate. Shift differentials offered as a percentage of base rate: 10% for PM shift and 17% for night shift . Experience Required Intensive Care Unit experience Preferred 2 year(s): Acute Care experience Education Required High School or better Associates or better in Nursing Preferred General Education Diploma or better Licenses & Certifications Required
