Job Description
UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered inpatient rehabilitation care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for adults recovering from serious illness, injury, or surgery. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and ensure safe transitions of care. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult inpatient rehabilitation patients. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately. Monitor patient progress and document in the EHR. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members. Educate patients and families on recovery, safety, and self-care. Support safe transfers, mobility, and rehabilitation activities. Participate in quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with discharge planning and care coordination. Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
