Outpatient Primary Care Schedule:

Full time coverage No inpatient responsibilities Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions. Perform preventive health screenings and annual wellness visits. Develop individualized treatment plans with an emphasis on value-based care and quality metrics. Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the healthcare team. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Ensure appropriate coding and documentation, including Medicare Advantage and HCC requirements. Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency (Family Medicine preferred). Board Certified in Family Medicine (ABFM) or Internal Medicine (ABIM), or AOA equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of primary care experience. Active, unrestricted Alaska medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start). Current DEA registration. Experience with electronic medical records; NextGen experience preferred. Experience with value-based care, Medicare Advantage, HCC coding, and quality documentation preferred. #AAS
