Intake Coordinator Samaritan Counseling Center - 4.0 Montgomery, AL Job Details Full-time From $16 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Microsoft Word Customer service Word processing Intake Basic math Full Job Description We are looking for an experienced Intake Coordinato r with a great personality to help organize and manage the daily administrative operations of our company. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional who collaborates well with others and demonstrates a strong work ethic. Key responsibilities include undertaking various office support tasks and maintaining current insurance benefit reference information, all while effectively working under pressure. The successful candidate will possess a high degree of attention to detail and discretion, and will be open to implementing new and effective strategies to achieve better results. Responsibilities Answering Phones and Greeting Clients Strong customer service skills with the ability to work with diverse people. Creating and updating records to ensure accuracy and validity of information Scheduling Monitoring intake e-mail account for initial client appointment requests Verifying accurate insurance eligibility and benefits via insurance websites or telephone Responsible for obtaining all authorizations, if applicable Completing tracking form with as much information as possible for clinician assignment. Coordinating with Clinical Director on Clinician assignment for scheduling. Maintain current information in benefit and eligibility binder. Collecting Session Fees Skills

• Graduation from high school. Associate or Bachelor degree preferred Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Medical background preferred. Problem-solving skills Fluency in other languages is beneficial- Not required Working knowledge of office methods, procedures, and equipment Ability to manage client intake, assessment, and referral procedures Ability to deal professionally and effectively with the public Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Skilled in basic math and accounting, spelling and word processing Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook Ability to take initiative and work independently
