This is primarily a weekday daytime position , with occasional weekend availability required as needed . The House Intake Coordinator helps maintain a safe, structured, organized, and supportive environment where participants can focus on recovery, accountability, stability, and personal growth. We are looking for someone who demonstrates calm leadership, sound judgment, consistency, strong communication skills, and appropriate professional boundaries while working in a shared-living recovery environment. Requirements and Qualifications Must maintain continuous sobriety. Personal or professional recovery experience is a plus. Must be available during the week and have some flexibility to work occasional weekends when needed . Must successfully pass a California Department of Justice background check and obtain all required program and legal clearances. Experience in sober living, recovery housing, peer support, behavioral health, or group-living environments is preferred. Must demonstrate a calm, professional, and emotionally stable demeanor. Strong communication, interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and de-escalation skills are required. Must be dependable, organized, responsible, and able to maintain appropriate professional boundaries. Basic computer skills are required, including email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic data entry. Must comply with all routine and random drug-testing requirements. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily house operations and help maintain a clean, safe, structured, organized, and recovery-focused environment. Assist with participant intakes, orientations, placement, and required documentation. Review house expectations with new participants and help ensure they understand program rules and responsibilities. Enforce house rules, visitor policies, and program expectations fairly and consistently. Monitor participant behavior and compliance with program requirements. Provide conflict-resolution and de-escalation support when concerns arise among participants. Facilitate regular house meetings to promote accountability, communication, and community participation. Promptly report incidents, behavioral concerns, rule violations, emergencies, and other significant matters to the Program Director or designated supervisor. Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs, intake records, incident reports, inventory records, and communication notes. Use Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and other basic computer programs to complete required documentation. Coordinate household chores, supplies, room inspections, property inspections, and maintenance needs. Support participants in their recovery while modeling accountability, respectful behavior, consistency, and appropriate professional boundaries. Maintain clear and professional communication with management and other staff. Comply with all routine and random drug-testing requirements.
