Summary We are seeking an Appointment Coordinator to join our team at Sierra View Medical Eye, Inc. In this role, you will be essential in managing patient appointments, ensuring smooth scheduling processes, and maintaining accurate medical records. Your contributions will directly enhance our operational efficiency and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate patient appointments efficiently using medical scheduling software. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their appointments and any necessary information. Assist in the collection of medical information and insurance details as needed. Utilize phone systems to handle incoming calls and inquiries professionally. Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize scheduling and patient flow. Requirements Proven experience in medical scheduling or a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting. Strong understanding of medical records management and ICD-9 coding is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced patient communication.
