$25.30-27.93 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Patient Account Rep to join our team in person (this is not a remote job). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining acceptable days in receivables by accelerating cash receipts and closely monitoring receivables; maintains efficient operations and assists with projects. Will also communicate with facility business office coordinators and 3rd party payer's. Responsibilities Manage patient accounts from initiation to resolution, ensuring accuracy in billing and collections. Review and process medical claims using

HIPPS, CPT

coding, and ICD-10 standards. Utilize EMR and EHR systems effectively for maintaining accurate patient information. Communicate with patients regarding their accounts, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Conduct follow-ups on outstanding claims and payments to ensure timely collections. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and coding practices to ensure compliance with regulations. Assist in training junior staff on best practices in medical billing and coding. Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience of healthcare Patient Accounting experience at a skilled nursing facility or other related experience with focus on Manage Care HMO and Private Pay co-insurance billing and collections. Basic computer knowledge including Excel and Microsoft Word. Knowledgeable in commercial, private, and managed care organizations. General understanding of charts, coding of insurance companies and checking financial classes. Experience in 3rd party payEr's contracts.
