Job Description

Neurology practice in Walnut Creek seeks an experienced Call Center staff member with EPIC experience to work with our front office team. This is a
FULL-TIME
position, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Compensation based on experience. Qualifications:
Electronic Medical Records programs, (EPIC Preferred) Customer service experience Experience in a fast-paced work environment Multiple Phone Lines Medical Terminology Experience with Medicare, HMO, and PPO insurance payers Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Proven problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Duties:
Answering multi-phone lines and triaging accordingly Schedule/confirm appointments Verify patient eligibility and referrals Patient registration/Sending new patient packets E-Chart Prepping Perform all administrative and direct patient care tasks in a clinical setting to patients in the call center.
Education/Certification Requirements:
High School diploma required Administrative Medical Assistant Course Certificate and/or Clinical Medical Assistant Course Certificate preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply if they are open to an administrative only position)
Experience:
One to two years Medical front experience preferred One year EMR preferred-
