Job Posting TitlePatient Admission and Care Specialist Job description: About UsAscent Health is a leading provider of behavioral healthcare, specializing in outpatient mental health and substance use treatment for adults across diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. We are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care, while fostering strong relationships with external collaborators and supporting our patients through every step of their treatment journey. Position OverviewThe Patient Admission and Care Specialist (PACS) will serve a dual purpose in providing patient admission services in addition to patient care, including group, individual, and family therapy services. The PACS will provide assessment and treatment planning services to potential and current Ascent patients in an office-based setting. Additionally, the PACS will provide group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, and vocational skills therapeutic intervention both virtually and in person, depending on organizational need. This position requires the PACS to utilize clinical knowledge and knowledge of the DSM-5 to make an accurate diagnosis at assessment, recommend appropriate levels of care, analyze phasing appropriateness, and determine immediate therapeutic intervention as needed. The PACS will complete all supporting clinical documentation required for the assessment and group therapy process and submit said documentation within the required timeframe. The PACS will interact with patient utilizing didactic and directive interventions.

Requirements/Qualifications:
M.A. or M.S. in Social Work, Psychology, Human Resources, etc.
Licensure Requirements:
LPCC, LSW
