Job Description

Valley View's Valley Ortho clinic looking for a Patient Service Specialist II to join our team! This is a full-time, day shift position! Responsibilities include Provides patients and physicians with professional and friendly reception duties. Organizes patient flow, keeping physicians and patients on schedule. Maintains patient files and accounts in a professionally accurate manner. Screens office manager, physician and nurse calls, handling appropriately. Crosstrain in
PCT/CNA/MA
role. Performs all clinical duties per licensed health care provider or delegation of a registered nurse, designated specifically by the clinic. Provides assistance to licensed health care providers and nursing staff for general patient assessments, rooming patients, procedures, treatments, filing/retrieving medical records, and general office clerical duties. Performs patient care tasks following clinic standards of care as defined in policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School graduate or equivalent. Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association preferred or obtained within 3 months of hire. Required to successfully completion of Assessment-Based Recognition (ABR) program in order entry for electronic health records (EHR's), within 30 days of hire or a current CO CNA License or current RMA/CMA Certification.
Skills:
Clerical:
typing filing, scheduling, computer, phone and people skills Excellent customer service skills; strong computer skills Phlebotomy experience preferred. Laboratory and/or X-ray experience preferred.
Experience:
Two years in a reception or clerical field. We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas High School graduate or equivalent. Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association preferred or obtained within 3 months of hire. Wage range:
$20.00- $28.87/hour
