Position Description:

Patient Care Leader

• The Patient Care Leader (PCL) is a clinical nurse who leads the practice of nursing and manages care on the patient care unit.
• This nurse is proficient in the delivery of complex nursing care and continuously promotes quality care assuming a broad level of accountability for outcomes.
• The Patient Care Leader provides 24 hour/ 7 day accountability care for assigned patients.

Requirements:

Certifications and Licensures:

• RN (Registered Nurse)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree

• Nursing Experience:

• Required experience
• 2 years acute care
