CORA Physical Therapy seeks a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant for our busy outpatient clinic in Lake Mary, FL. In this role, you'll deliver hands-on treatment under the direction of a Physical Therapist, progressing therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, and functional activities for orthopedic, sports, and post-surgical patients. You'll document care in our EMR, educate patients on home programs and injury prevention, and help maintain a safe, efficient clinic flow. Responsibilities Provide hands-on treatment under the direction of a Physical Therapist in an outpatient clinic Implement and progress therapeutic exercise and functional mobility programs Assist with patient evaluations by gathering data and observing performance Instruct patients and families on home exercise programs and safe movement strategies Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately and timely in the EMRPrepare treatment areas, equipment, and modalities for safe, efficient patient care Collaborate with PTs, front office, and other team members to coordinate care and schedules Support quality, evidence-based care and follow clinic protocols and regulatory standards Educate patients on injury prevention, posture, and use of assistive devices Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and continuing education activities Required Skills Therapeutic exercise prescription Manual therapy techniques within PTA scope Outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation Neuromuscular re-education Gait and balance training Use of physical agents and modalities Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Patient and family education Care plan progression under PT supervision Time management in a high-volume clinic
