CORA Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. In this role, you will implement treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist, provide hands-on patient care, document progress, and support patients in restoring function, mobility, and independence. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality physical therapy interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist Implement individualized treatment plans focused on restoring mobility, function, and independence Monitor, document, and report patient progress using EMR in a timely and accurate manner Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and injury prevention Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure evidence-based, patient-first care Assist with scheduling, patient flow, and maintaining a clean, safe clinic environment Participate in continuing education, mentorship, and clinical in-services to enhance skills Support quality improvement initiatives and uphold CORA's standards of clinical excellence Required Skills Therapeutic exercise implementation Manual therapy techniques (within PTA scope) Gait and balance training Neuromuscular re-education Patient transfer and mobility training Use of rehab modalities (e-stim, ultrasound, heat/cold) Clinical documentation and EMR systems Care plan progression and monitoring Patient and family education Infection control and safety procedures
