Job Description

Short Job Summary Medical Professionals is seeking a Bilingual Patient Services Representative to provide exceptional front office support in a busy dermatology practice. This role is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while managing patient scheduling, insurance verification, check-in/check-out processes, payment collection, and other administrative duties that keep the clinic running efficiently.

$17.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday Shift:
8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 7:00 AM-4:00 PM Must be flexible to work between 7:00 AM-6:00 PM , including overtime as needed. Key Responsibilities Welcome patients and caregivers while providing professional, friendly customer service. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments, including follow-up visits. Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, referrals, and prior authorizations before appointments. Register patients by updating demographics, obtaining required forms, and scanning insurance and identification documents. Collect copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and outstanding balances while accurately posting payments. Prepare patient charts, reconcile daily payments, complete end-of-day balancing, and maintain accurate documentation. Process medical records requests in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and assist with general front office administrative duties. Maintain communication with providers, staff, and the call center to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent patient service. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while managing multiple tasks. Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Professional demeanor appropriate for a dermatology office. Understanding of health insurance processes, billing procedures, and claims submission protocols. Excellent phone communication skills combined with effective client communication abilities. Typing speed and accuracy to support efficient data entry and documentation tasks. Preferred Qualifications Previous dermatology office experience. Bilingual in Spanish.
