Job Description

Job Summary Our Office is a privately owned Family & Cosmetic Dental Practice looking for an experienced, dependable, and committed Front Desk / Patient Care Coordinator to join our team.
PART-TIME TO START WITH OPPORTUNITY TO GROW TOWARD FULL-TIME STRONG PHONE, SCHEDULING, PATIENT COMMUNICATION & INSURANCE SKILLS REQUIRED
Please apply only if you have previous dental front-office experience. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the front office and understands that every phone call, patient inquiry, and open appointment is an opportunity to serve our patients and keep the schedule productive.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES PHONE & NEW-PATIENT CONVERSION
Answer calls professionally and turn new-patient inquiries into scheduled appointments . Build rapport, understand patient needs, answer questions, and make a strong effort to secure the appointment.
SCHEDULING & FOLLOW-UP
Actively fill cancellations and open spots in the schedule. Follow up with patients who did not schedule. Follow up with pending/unscheduled treatment and overdue patients . Keep the schedule productive rather than waiting for patients to call.
INSURANCE & PATIENT CARE
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits. Prepare accurate insurance breakdowns and treatment estimates . Explain benefits and financial information clearly to patients. Handle check-in/check-out, payments, and patient requests. Provide a welcoming, professional patient experience.
WHAT WE NEED
1-2+ years of recent dental front-office experience —
REQUIRED
Excellent phone and patient communication skills Strong scheduling and new-patient conversion skills Proactive follow-up and schedule-filling mindset Dental insurance verification and breakdown experience Experience with dental practice-management software Reliable, punctual, organized, and dependable Takes initiative and works well without constant supervision Professional, positive, and committed to becoming a long-term member of our team
THE RIGHT PERSON
We want someone who doesn't just answer the phone — they know how to turn the call into an appointment. Someone who sees an opening and works to fill it, follows up when a patient doesn't schedule, recognizes pending treatment opportunities, communicates well with patients, and takes ownership of the front office. If you are an experienced dental front-office professional who is confident on the phone, strong with scheduling, and understands the importance of patient follow-up and customer service, we would love to hear from you.
Pay:
