Position Purpose The Patient Sales and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the doctor with case presentations and facilitating patient acceptance of the doctor's recommended treatment plans through effective patient education and communication. This role also serves as a key driver of practice revenue, patient experience, and growth through financial coordination, collections, and internal and external marketing initiatives. Primary Objective To improve patient outcomes and practice growth by increasing patient acceptance of recommended care, ensuring proper financial coordination and collections for non-covered services and case packages, enhancing the patient experience, improving treatment plan compliance, and supporting internal and external marketing efforts that attract, retain, and serve patients. Position Summary The Patient Sales and Marketing Coordinator assists the doctor in case presentations and supports patient understanding and acceptance of recommended treatment plans. This role is responsible for collecting monies from patients who have agreed to all applicable financial arrangements related to their care for services recommended by the doctor that are not covered by insurance. These services include, but are not limited to, PEMF, Shock Wave Therapy, Spinal Decompression, Cold Laser Therapy, chiropractic wellness plans, case packages, and other non-covered therapeutic services and modalities. Additionally, this position actively participates in internal and external marketing initiatives designed to generate practice growth, enhance the patient experience, improve treatment plan compliance, and promote patient participation in recommended services. Activities include patient referrals, reactivations, community outreach, relationship development, and other initiatives designed to attract, retain, and serve patients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Patient Education & Case Presentation Support Assist the doctor with case presentations and Reports of Findings (ROF). Educate patients regarding recommended treatment plans and case packages. Facilitate patient understanding and acceptance of recommended care. Support patient decision-making through clear communication and education. Reinforce the importance of treatment plan compliance and continuity of care. Financial Coordination & Collections Present and explain financial arrangements for doctor-recommended services and case packages. Establish and collect payments for non-covered services, wellness programs, and case packages. Ensure patients have agreed to all financial arrangements prior to initiation of services. Collect monies for services not covered by insurance, including but not limited to PEMF, Shock Wave Therapy, Spinal Decompression, Cold Laser Therapy, chiropractic wellness plans, and other recommended modalities. Maintain accurate documentation of financial agreements, payment plans, and collections. Coordinate with office staff to ensure proper posting and reconciliation of all collections. Ensure patients clearly understand their financial responsibility for care. Case Package Responsibility Present doctor-recommended case packages aligned with patient treatment goals. Facilitate patient acceptance and financial commitment to case packages. Collect payments and/or establish approved payment arrangements for case packages. Track case package performance in coordination with office leadership. Patient Experience & Retention Enhance overall patient experience throughout the treatment process. Promote treatment plan adherence and appointment compliance. Identify and assist with patient barriers to continued care. Support patient retention and reactivation efforts. Reinforce continuity of care and patient engagement. Internal Marketing Responsibilities Support internal marketing initiatives to increase patient engagement and retention. Encourage and facilitate patient referrals. Assist with patient reactivation efforts. Participate in patient appreciation and engagement activities. Promote clinic services and wellness programs to existing patients. External Marketing Responsibilities Participate in community outreach and local marketing initiatives. Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and referral partners. Support workshops, screenings, and educational events. Assist in external campaigns designed to generate new patient growth. Represent the practice in a professional and positive manner within the community.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
