Role Overview As a Medical Office Representative , you will support front desk operations in a busy physician practice while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Key responsibilities include:
Greeting patients and visitors while providing outstanding customer service Performing patient check-in and check-out functions Collecting payments and maintaining accurate financial records Scheduling appointments, procedures, and surgeries Handling patient inquiries and resolving scheduling concerns Entering orders and updating patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) Utilizing various computer systems to manage provider schedules and patient communications Maintaining accurate patient records and demographic information Providing administrative support to ensure efficient office operations Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications Education Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Experience Required:
Six (6) months of Healthcare experience OR Six (6) months of Customer Service experience
